Delving into the details of this green goodness!
Good for our planet
Pura believe being eco-friendly is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. And that we should all be able to look after our planet, simply by looking after our families.
Well on their way to net zero: Pura were proud to become a Carbon Neutral business in 2021! And they’re also now part of the B Corp Climate Collective, committed to achieving Net Zero by 2030. Hopefully sooner!
Championed recycling: All Pura’s packaging is 100% recyclable with clear labels on each pack telling consumers how to recycle. They’ve also partnered with Wales-based NappiCycle. 41 million nappy equivalents were diverted from landfill in Wales in 2020 alone, and now, in partnership with Asda, they’ve launched a nappy recycling trial in Bristol.
But they want to do even better! As a B Corp they’ll be held accountable as they continually push themselves to improve their impact, measured through their B Impact Assessment score every three years.
We hope you’ll be watching as they take big steps.
Good for our society
Since they conceived their baby care brand, it has been Pura’s aim to support the NHS and its staff who work tirelessly to bring babies safely into the world - and provide invaluable care for all patients.
In recognition of their amazing work and dedication, Pura are offering all NHS staff the chance to use Pura’s eco-awesome products at a special rate.
NHS staff can buy the Pura range, via the NHS Staff Benefits website, with a 10% discount for every single purchase. They can also try Pura products for free with their trial box.
Pura have also donated thousands of nappies and wipes to The Hygiene Bank, a grassroots charity helping families who live in poverty and cannot afford the basic products necessary to keep themselves clean.
Good for their workers
Pura is a certified B Corp.
B Corp Certification is unique because it measures a company’s entire social and environmental performance. From supply chain and input materials to charitable giving and employee benefits, B Corp Certification verifies that a business is meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
In particular, they have been great at supporting parents like you at work. They’ve created new parent policies to help mums and dads working at Pura. This means that all employees are now offered 8 weeks of fully paid maternity/paternity leave.
Good for you
Pura's lower impact, high performance and affordable baby care has allowed parents to easily switch from wipes and nappies that are more harmful for the planet.
Trustpilot score of 4.8 = Excellent

About the brand
It all began in Cheshire…
More and more of Guy and Abi's friends were starting families and they noticed the staggering amount of baby wipes around their homes – the kitchen, the lounge, even the dog basket!
Looking into it, they discovered that 90% of the wipes in the UK contain plastic! Combined with disposable nappies that can take 500 years to decompose, it made them realise… we’re damaging our children’s world with the very essentials we’re using to look after them.
And so, Pura was born.
Affordable, eco-friendly baby products that help people to take care of the planet, just by taking care of their family.
Now they’re parents themselves – to Ezra, born in 2020, and Enzo who made them a family of four in 2023. And they’re working to leave a legacy for them and children everywhere, by changing the way we all look after their planet.
“This is not our world. It’s our children’s. Yet we’re damaging it with the very essentials we’re using to look after them.“ Guy, Abi, Ezra & Enzo
